Volunteers & Vacancies

VOLUNTEERS

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER

HC Oranje-Rood is a fantastic club. This is not only because of the more than 2,600 members, but also because of the large number of volunteers we can rely on. Because a field hockey club like ours can only exist thanks to their efforts. They not only ensure that everything runs smoothly, they give an extra dimension to the club.

HC Oranje-Rood has a network of hundreds of volunteers. This ranges from all the coaches, managers and trainers who work hard for their children's team to the people who take care of all kinds of overarching issues that involve both field hockey and club life. Like, for example, the "chore group" who make sure our sports park always looks top notch, the ladies of the information desk who always give all visitors to the club a warm welcome and can answer all questions and the organizers of all those great club parties. And so there are many.

HC Oranje-Rood values good coordination of volunteers and has therefore established a volunteer committee. Together with this committee the volunteer policy is determined and implemented. This is not only about recruiting and retaining volunteers, but also about making the jobs as enjoyable as possible.

Members, parents of members and/or other interested parties who would like to volunteer for our club can apply by sending an email to[email protected]. The vacancies currently open can be found below, but if you are interested in another committee or task, of course you can sign up for that as well, at the same email address.

VACANCIES

Our club can only exist through the tremendous efforts of many volunteers. We can always use a few extra hands. Would you like to do something for the club? Goal: To ensure that students enjoy learning to play field hockey in a safe environment.

A youth board member is also responsible for the budget for training youth players, youth coaches and the associated training plan. The board member should be aware of what is going on among members, parents and volunteers in order to respond to needs. More information? Please contact Wouter Hermsen ([email protected])

Are you good at planning and organizing? Administratively strong and do you like to puzzle? Then a role as Youth Match Secretary is for you.
