COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

Keeping everyone well informed of all our activities is super important. That's why we spend a lot of time on communication within (and outside) our beautiful club.


We do this through different channels because our members also get their information through different ways.

Thus we have:

RESEARCH COMMUNICATION

In April this year a survey was conducted among the members of HC Oranje-Rood regarding the communication of and involvement with the club. The survey yielded a high response rate, thank you for that! Below are briefly the main insights from the questionnaire:


  • Members are generally very satisfied with the current provision of information within Oranje-Rood through the various channels (App, Website, Instagram and Whatsapp mn). 94.5%(!!!) indicate that they are adequately informed. Of course, there are always things to improve, so we will do our best again next season to keep you well informed!
  • In the coming period, the club must continue to build the culture through the core values We Connect-We Play-We Grow.
  • Members welcome the attention on socials for top field hockey. But more attention may be given to grassroots sports. The club is running into the fact that there is not enough footage of these teams. This needs to be worked on! A vacancy has been created within the Marketing & Communications team to fill this position. Interested? Mail then to: [email protected]. A call can also be made to Steven Boerma, 0652555029.
  • We also see again confirmation that volunteers are crucial within an association and that current volunteers would like to see reinforcement. And while the majority feel that their work is sufficiently appreciated, 15% also indicate that there is room for improvement.

MAGAZINE - CONNECT

Occasionally we publish an Oranje-Rood magazine. In cooperation with FRITS.

In 2021, we will have a special edition of our Connect magazine made. An edition entirely dedicated to 100 years of Orange and Red. With wonderful stories from then and now and interesting interviews with club icons.
