Since the beginning of season '22/'23 there has been a cooperation with Viaplay. All matches of the main league Ladies 1 and Men 1 are broadcasted live on Viaplay. For this you do need a subscription.

What's also nice is that we at the club of course also have a subscription and so you can watch our Men's 1 and Women's 1 matches there too!

We as a club have been working hard for a year to boost our Instagram account. For our members, for our sponsors and for our fans who follow our flagship teams from abroad (e.g. Argentina and Pakistan).

Every Women's 1 and Men's 1 game, at least 1 so-called Social Reporter is on the sidelines to record short videos. Of cool actions and beautiful goals. We post these in Instagram/FB stories and later in the week as Reel on Instagram. These videos are viewed more than 100,000 times.

We are continuously looking for new Social Reporters; for our D1/H1 matches but also for our youth on Saturdays. Or at fun events at the club.

HC Oranje-Rood, teams, other entities of the association and its members use many media channels for their communication, including the 'social media'. We encourage its use because it can contribute to a positive image of field hockey in general and that of HC Oranje-Rood in particular. Moreover, it enables us to communicate in a modern way.

Sportsmanship & Respect do not stop after the final whistle but apply just as much on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram etc. Be aware that everything you post online can be found forever. So think before you post something. Being nice pays off, even online.

HC Oranje-Rood's use of social media is based on general rules of decency, just like communicating in the 'ordinary' world. We expect our members to observe these rules. A good starting point is that you never put anything on the Internet about someone else that you would not want to read or see about yourself.

To avoid problems, we would like to share with you a few rules regarding social media usage;

- Everyone who is active on social media (alone or in groups) related to HC Oranje-Rood, or on behalf of HC Oranje-Rood, must observe the good name and reputation of the association, its (former) members, volunteers, employees and sponsors.

- Respect for HC Oranje-Rood, for each other and for others (referees, opponents, audience etc) are paramount.

- Do not use HC Oranje-Rood related accounts to express private opinions.

- Insulting, negative, abusive and insulting language and images are not acceptable and will be opposed at all times.

HC Oranje-Rood would like to be informed about alleged abuse on social media. Please contact our secretary or our confidential advisor for this.

Violation of our social media game rules may result in sanctions, depending on nature and severity. Sanctions are imposed by the board in consultation with the Disciplinary Committee.
