HC Oranje-Rood wants to be a field hockey club where everyone feels safe and enjoys playing field hockey. Therefore we find it important to prevent unpleasant and undesirable things (for example, bullying, (sexual) harassment or discrimination) within our club and where necessary to make it discussable.

For this purpose Confidential Contact Persons (VCPs) have been appointed, Marianne Lammers and Esmée Kappers. They act as first point of contact for members (field hockey players, parents, spectators, committee members, volunteers, board) with a complaint or question regarding the generally applicable rules of conduct. Marianne and Esmée as VCP offer a listening ear, work confidentially, give advice and refer for appropriate help. For example, they can refer you to our confidential doctors Esther Visscher and/or Frederieke de Bever, to your own family doctor, to a (youth) aid agency or to the police.

You can talk to Marianne and Esmée about issues such as: bullying and being bullied, transgressive behavior (the way you are approached and/or touched by a team member, trainer or coach you experience as unpleasant), a suspicion of transgressive behavior (you think someone in your immediate vicinity is dealing with this) or for example you do not feel safe in general.

This includes reporting quickly and safely, talking about it and ensuring that an undesirable situation is ended (early) so that it does not worsen and can be prevented from recurring.

The conversations that take place between you and the confidential contact person will not be disclosed to anyone without your consent or knowledge.
